Kilifi Gold Triathlon Social Media Management
As Digital Content Manager for the Kilifi Gold Triathlon in 2024, an annual off-road triathlon in Kenya supporting social impact initiatives, I led the refresh of the event’s Instagram presence ahead of the race. The goal was to increase awareness, drive sign-ups, and highlight its partnership with the LEAF charity.
I redesigned the visual identity to create a more cohesive and energetic feed, while developing a content strategy focused on storytelling, featuring athletes, sponsors, and the cause. By combining design, content production, and analytics, I helped strengthen community engagement and visibility across the platform.
This resulted in +17.4% follower growth, a 646% increase in profile activity, and over 2000% growth in external link taps within one month, building momentum leading into the event and amplifying support for the charity.
